Kentucky School for the Deaf is open to any student in the state of Kentucky with a hearing loss ages 3-21. Being a special education school, placement at KSD is determined by an ARC panel and requires evaluations, typically performed by the home district, KSD and/or KSD Outreach. To start the evaluation process for your student, contact your home district Director of Special Education, or feel free to contact KSD and we can help walk you through the process.
