“The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”

Jacques Cousteau

“If a child can't learn the way we teach,

maybe we should teach the way they learn.”

Maria Montessori

With more than 15 years of experience in education, my instruction has been in public secondary school, middle school, university graduate courses and now Kentucky School for the Deaf.  Students are the daily reminder of why I enjoy teaching as my chosen career. It is my short term goal to become a National Board Certified Teacher.  As I begin my dissertation at UK (Spring 2015) on the journey towards Dr. Lisaann Hampton, Professor of STEM Education, I continually learn and explore the strategies for H/Deaf/HH student success.
