This is my fourth year teaching at Kentucky School for the Deaf and I am so excited to be back as the Elementary, Middle School, and High School Arts & Humanities and Creative Arts teacher.  I hold a BA in Studio Art from the all women's college, Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN.  There, I studied art history abroad in Rome, Italy and Eastern China.  I minored in dance and was a member of the SMC dance company, Notre Dame dance company, and Troop ND dance team.  I earned my M.A.T. in Art Education from University of the Cumberlands in 2016.  I played the violin for 11 years and have choreographed for several theatre productions. You could say that I love the arts!

In addition to teaching arts and humanities here at KSD, I also teach dance classes here in Danville and I have recently started learning and performing aerial silks.  The arts mean so much to me and I truly believe in them.  I am so lucky to have a career doing what I love and sharing that love with youth.  I love KSD and am excited to call it my home!
