KSD Interpreting Department
All American Sign Language Interpreters on staff at KSD are nationally certified and hold a valid license issued by the Kentucky Board of Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to practice as Interpreters in the state. KSD staff interpreters work in a variety of settings including classes on campus, mainstream classes at public schools, testing, staff meetings, professional development, sporting events, camps, field trips - any where the students take them. They work diligently to maintain certification and licensure status, and they continue furthering their skill and knowledge to better interpret for students and staff at KSD.
